Director, NIT Tiruchirappalli
The National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli is coordinating the All-India NIT MCA Common Entrance Test 2025 (NIMCET 2025) for admission to the MCA program across 10 NITs and 2 IIITs. Participating institutes are NIT at Agartala, NIT at Allahabad, NIT at Bhopal, NIT at Jamshedpur, NIT at Kurukshetra, NIT at Meghalaya, NIT at Patna, NIT at Raipur, NIT at Tiruchirappalli and NIT at Warangal and IIIT at Bhopal and IIIT at Vadodara (two campuses).
As premier institutions of technical education, NITs/IIITs are expanding into multidisciplinary domains, with their alumni making a global impact across diverse fields. The three-year MCA post-graduate programme offered by the participating institutes has consistently produced professionals who excel in both private and public sectors, earning recognition for their expertise and dedication. The participating institutes, as centres of national importance, have been instrumental in shaping generations of computing professionals.
Following the entrance test, the admission process will include four rounds of online counselling, including a special round. All counselling activities, including document verification, will be conducted online, eliminating the need for candidates to visit any participating institute for the said purpose.
As Chairperson of NIMCET 2025, I extend my best wishes to all the candidates who are appearing for NIMCET 2025 and encourage them to visit the official websites of respective participating institutes for further details. I also sincerely appreciate the national and institutional committees for their unwavering efforts in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of NIMCET 2025 admissions.
The greatness of benevolence rests on those who have the quality of perseverance. (Thirukkural: 613)
